British Museum Tour

First opened in 1753, the British Museum has one of the finest collections in the world. Come with me to explore how ancient cultures have influenced each other up to the modern day and how we are very much a product of those early farmers in Mesopotamia.

Secrets of Whitehall

Whitehall – London's political heart – is a place brimming with history, and one of my personal favourites. Even if you are familiar with Whitehall, this tour will reveal hidden gems and surviving fragments of history that are easy to miss.

Of course, we will encounter Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. When walking down Whitehall, we will walk past 10 Downing Street, which has been the home to over fifty British Prime Ministers. We will follow this with a wander through St James's to meet the pelicans.

Natural History Museum Tour

This is one of the finest Victorian buildings in London, designed specifically to house the Natural History collection of the British Museum. With dinosaurs, elephants, bugs, rocks, bones and butterflies, these galleries tell a story that spans 4.5 billion years. Prepare to be amazed by life itself.

Shoreditch-More Light More Power

Much like today, a thousand years ago, Shoreditch was a playground for the younger generation. Shakespeare's first play was performed in this area, outside of the old city walls, and it was the site of the first social housing estate.

On this walk, we will head to the theatre, check out some outstanding street art, and indulge in one of Brick Lane market's famous bagels.

Roman London

The Romans built the first London and more survives than you might think. The shape of modern London echoes that time. Explore the Roman Ampitheatre (albeit without the public executions, animal fighting and gladiator battles of times gone by). Touch a 2,000 year old wharf post from the original London Bridge, preserved by the water of the Thames. And see some of the surviving streets from the first Roman London.
